This Public Speaking Competition was the first competition ever of this type in which I participated, as unfortunately, in my school, and my city, there are little to none debating clubs or public speaking competitions. I have been interested in public speaking since my childhood, as I am a great fan of history, and have always had the wish to partake in competitions of this type. I have finally fulfilled that wish by participating in this great competition. Also, the fact that I was able to meet so many like-minded people during the finals is a strong enough argument on its own.
When it comes to suggestions for improvement, I genuinely cannot think of any. Everything was well prepared, efficient, and the hospitality was magnificent.
Therefore, this was personally an incredible experience, and I am eternally grateful to the ESU for organising it.
